My six year old son recently told me that all moms are like Wonder Woman. I said, "Oh really". He then said "Yeah, they're always going around wondering about this, wondering about that, wondering about this, wondering about that." I told my friends at work and we had quite a laugh!

My youngest of six is four years old and full of funny things. Bethany's dad was just transferred to the 82 Airborne Unit in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. When he was in town he told the kids about learning to jump out of airplanes and other interesting things he would be doing there. A few weeks later I found out that he is being deployed, so we worked things out to send them to him for Spring Break. This is Bethany's first time on a plane but whe was so excited to hear she was going! A week went by and she started asking more questions. She asked, "Mommy, (with a worried look in her eyes) how are we going to get off the airplane? "Are we going to have to jump out of it like daddy does?" She was worried! I would have never thought of that in a million years!

My niece Haley had just turned 3 years in October of 2005 and in November 2005 we were all sitting in the dark watching "The Passion of the Christ". Our mom (her grandma) at the time was battling cancer and she was watching the movie with us. Haley had lived with both of her parents and both her grandma and grandpa since birth. Haley went through a lot of loss in her very young age. We just lost our dad (her grandpa) a year earlier. The scene came on when they were nailing Jesus to the Cross and we were saying "Thank you Jesus" and Haley was also praising Jesus, but, she also kept asking many questions. Her little mind could not grasp what was really happening to Jesus. When the scene came on and they raised Jesus up on the cross into the air she thought it was a good thing for all to see. Haley then stood up and outstretched her arms like Jesus and said "Ta-Da!'
