| August 3-9 | 5th Annual Downtown Restaurant Week (Dinner only) Where: Various restaurants in Downtown St. Louis (St. Louis, MO) Contact: 314-436-6500 Twenty five of downtown's finest dining establishments will take part in this fabulous food event. There will be no passes to buy, coupons to carry or cards to punch. Patrons will simply attend the restaurant of their choice and select from a special 3 course dinner menu for $25.00 per person, plus tip and tax. |

| August 16 | Alligator's Creek Triathlon Where: Civic Park Dr. (O'Fallon, MO) Contact: jwolfmeyer@ofallon.mo.us The Triathlon consists of a 300-yard serpentine swim at Alligator's Creek, an 18-mile bike course and a 5K run through O'Fallon. Includes awards ceremony and raffle. Registration is limited to 300 competitors or August 2nd. |
